Terms and Conditions for the Use of the Lucid Platform

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Lucid platform (the "Service") operated by Lucid ("us", "we", or "our").
1. User Accounts
Information Accuracy
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account and access to our Service.
Access Security
You are solely responsible for safeguarding the email account and authentication methods you use to access the Service (including OTP codes and third-party services such as Google). Any activity performed under your account will be deemed your action and remains your sole responsibility.
Security Incident Reporting
You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security, unauthorized use of your account, or compromise of your account's integrity.
2. Legal Capacity and Age Requirement
Age Declaration
The Service and purchases on the site are intended for individuals aged 18 or older only. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Right to Audit
We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to block access to users who do not meet this requirement.
3. Intellectual Property
The Service and all its components-including code, design, user interface, algorithms, trademarks, and unique features-are and will remain the exclusive property of Lucid and its licensors.
The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws in Israel and worldwide. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be copied, distributed, or used for any commercial purpose without our prior express written consent.
4. Privacy and Data Security
Security
We employ advanced security technologies and strict precautionary measures to maintain the confidentiality of information and dilemmas entered into the system, to the maximum extent possible within a digital environment.
User Rights
You may request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR or the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law) by submitting a formal request to our support team.
5. Prohibited Activities and Misuse
You are strictly prohibited from using the Service for any illegal purposes, including but not limited to:
- Entering personal information of third parties without their express legal consent.
- Attempting to reverse engineer the AI model or disrupt its operations.
- Entering content that is offensive, defamatory, threatening, or violates the intellectual property rights of others.
- Distributing malicious code, viruses, or malware through the platform.
6. Service Activation and Delivery Times
Immediate Availability
Access to the analysis tools will be opened automatically upon confirmation of payment and completion of registration.
Technical Liability Disclaimer
Lucid shall not be held liable for delays resulting from issues with the user's internet infrastructure, failures of third-party cloud providers, or events of Force Majeure.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
7.1 General Right of Cancellation
The customer is entitled to request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date, provided they have not made "substantial and exceptional use" of the Service as defined in Section 7.2 below.
7.2 Digital Service and Substantial Use Exclusion
In accordance with consumer protection laws and given the nature of the Service as digital "information," the right to cancellation and refund will be voided in cases where the user has made substantial, extensive, or excessive use of the Service prior to the refund request. For Lucid, such use includes, but is not limited to:
- Running a high volume of dilemma analyses in a manner inconsistent with reasonable trial use.
- Excessive use of the system's AI resources within a short period.
- Abuse of the platform to generate multiple outputs and consume them in full before requesting a refund.
In such cases, Lucid reserves the exclusive right to refuse the refund request, as the Service has been fully provided and the information consumed by the user.
7.3 Subscriptions
Cancellation of a recurring subscription can be performed at any time via account settings. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no partial refund will be provided for the remaining period if the Service has already been used.
8. Limitation of Liability and Reliance
Liability
Lucid and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or emotional distress) resulting from the use of the Service.
User Decisions
Sole responsibility for any personal, business, or legal decision made following the use of the AI rests entirely with you. Lucid is not responsible for the accuracy of outputs or the consequences arising from them.
9. Professional Disclaimer
Use of Lucid is not a substitute for professional advice.
Not Advice
Insights generated by the Service do not constitute legal, financial, medical, or therapeutic advice of any kind.
Duty to Verify
You must verify any data and consult with qualified professionals (lawyers, psychologists, accountants, etc.) before making significant life or business decisions.
No Professional Relationship
Use of the Service does not create a "consultant-client" or "therapist-patient" relationship between you and Lucid.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Notice of material changes will be posted on the site. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
